Regarding Performance at Wedding, Sunday, December 28, 2007

From the Groom:

Guys,

It was the best reception we possibly could have hoped for. Michelle and I have been to about 10 weddings since last June, and none have had so much dancing and fun. Thanks again!

Regarding performance at the Moila Shrine Temple 12/31/2003 St. Joseph, MO

Mike,

We all had a great time New Year’s Eve.  You guys get better ever time I hear you.  You are really good for Moila as your different sets cater to all age groups.  I hesitated requesting your Blues Brothers routine at Moila as I wasn’t sure if you guys improvised or had a set plan of songs that you do.  You guys are great no matter what you play.   We will definitely spread the word to the Moila crowd and I am sure you will see us there at the Sports Car Bar this week-end.  I will be requesting your Blues Brothers routine, so get ready!

Regards,

Marsha

Regarding performance at the GT STYX'S - 07/19/2003 - Kansas City, MO

From:       Kelly

To:           Kansas City Karaoke E-Group

Subject:  Awesome Band!

Saturday night after Chum's, had the incredible pleasure of hearing a GREAT live band up at GT Styxx .... called Exit 47.  Only 3 band members (one the hubbie of the famous Carrie-oke, and a  kickazz guitar player!) ... but wowza what talent!!!  The singer knocked my socks off by playin the electric drum set-up thingy (quite good at musical terms aren't I?), WHILE singing, AND keeping up with a weather review!!  The keyboard fella (good at names too huh?), along with great vocals as well, looked like he was playing about 5 different keyboards at once and there appeared to be around 50 pedals or so on the floor.  Wonder what would happen if he stomped on the wrong one?  Psst I was gonna check it out for myself but didn't wanna get in trouble!

Having heard LOTS of local bands over the past few years, in my not so expert opinion I would give them five stars!!!

My suggestion ... stop what you're doing right now ... go ahead, I'm sitting here waiting while you do ...  lalala I DO have other things to do today folks .... okay good ... now go to www.exit47band.com.  THEN make it out to hear em play sometime.  Want bonus points?  Hehehe tell em Kelly the goofy blonde sent ya! No wait - they could boo at you then!

Have a good one - follow directions please, check out the band!!

Regarding performance at the SPORTS CAR BAR - 07/06/2002 - St. Joseph, MO

First of all,  I want to thank all of you for a fantastic performance this
past weekend!  Aside from being soooo entertaining, your line up of songs
pleases all ages as represented this weekend & fits perfectly into what I
want the Club to represent.  Good music & lots of fun with no hassels!  I
got nothing but great compliments from the customers all night!  Have
several groups again waiting for your next performance.  I also wanted to
mention that the door covered your fee Saturday night which is a big plus in
my book!  You are awesome!

Thanks again!

Regarding ABDALLAH SHRINE BALL - 02/23/2002 - OVERLAND PARK, KS

Mike,

I just wanted to thank you for indulging Karen, Sue,
and myself during the ABDALLAH SHRINE BALL.  Herb was
very surprised and pleased at having "What a Wonderful
World" sung by me for the opening number.  I appreciate
your patience.  They can't stop talking about it.

Secondly, everyone was impressed with your band and the
way they "change their style" to fit different venues.
Many people can't remember when the dance floor was
still full when it was time for the band to "Exit 47"
stage left.  They are usually in the hospitality
room...on the sofas...beverage in hand by that time.
You guys were great.

Thanks again.

Regarding Mardi Gras Party at the High Noon Saloon: February 2002

Mike,

I have been a huge fan of local live music for over 20 years and I was
pleasantly surprised when I caught your act at the Highnoon Saloon a few
weeks ago.  I have transferred around with my Company to places like
Oklahoma City, Dallas, San Antonio and Austin, Texas.  I like to frequent
the live music scene and was delighted to see a group that was as talented
as they were professional acting.  It is difficult to find a band that puts
it all together (puts on a show, plays well, gets the crowd in it) like Exit
47 did that evening.

Thanks,

Mitch Breedlove

Regarding Wedding Reception Performance January 19, 2002:

To:     Kevin
Subject:     Amy's Reception

Just wanted to thank you one more time for the great job you and your
band did at the reception.

The Marriott Events Coordinator, Katie, said people were really talking
about how good the band was and that she intends to recommend Exit 47
when people ask her if she knows of a good band.  And everyone noticed
how people from the other banquet halls kept coming over and standing
around to listen to you guys.

Also, it was great to see that you got almost everyone out dancing.

Again, thank you.  You guys were great!
